All you need is Love?

  2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
Conditional Love Unconditional Love
One where there are rules, regulations, conditions on how love is shown, expressed, how it is given to another, deserving or not One given freely, given without reservations, one that has no strings attached to it
This is love that depends on what is received from the person the love is given to.

For example: I will love you if...

  • you are rich
  • if you have a great car
  • if you will not betray me
  • if you will not lie to me
  • if you have a great body.
This love asks for something in return, it has a condition. As soon as “if” comes into the equation in whatever way, that is conditional love.
This is love that is given without any “conditions”.

This is love that has no limits or boundaries, it does not possess, or dictate.

It is freely given without expectations of receiving in return.
There is never an “if” in this equation.

Some sources:

Love and freedom are the same, if there is a condition to freedom, then it is not unconditional. Freedom is given from unconditional love. Freedom of choice is the same thing as unconditional love, they are all the same thing.

Real Love is caring about the happiness of another person without any thought for what we might get for ourselves. It’s also Real Love when other people care about our happiness unconditionally. It is not Real Love when other people like us for doing what they want. Under those conditions we’re just paying for love again.
